Introduction

These Terms & Conditions are issued by Rayat Al-Safar Company, operating under the trademark “Rendryv” (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).

This User Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, sets out the terms and conditions governing your use of the Rendryv website/application and the legal effects arising from the services provided. By registering for an account or making a booking through Rendryv, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.

The company may amend these terms & conditions from time to time. You are therefore encouraged to review this Agreement periodically to remain informed of any updates.

Note: Renting any vehicle is also subject to the terms of the chosen rental company. Terms may vary by location even within the same brand. We recommend reviewing the specific rental company’s terms before completing a booking.

Definitions

  • Rendryv:A registered trademark in Saudi Arabia owned by Rayat Al-Safar company (LLC). Operating a website and application that provide car rental arrangement and booking services. References to “Rendryv,” “the App,” or “the Website” 
  • The Customer: The user, renter, or beneficiary; any person utilizing the services or making a booking.
  • Rental company: The car rental service provider or partner selected by the customer on the booking website/application.
  • Booking: The arrangement of car rental services that may lead to a car rental contract between the customer (renter) and the provider (lessor), which is formed only upon vehicle pickup and is subject to compliance with all applicable legal terms and conditions of both Rendryv and the provider (lessor)
  • Booking voucher : A document issued by Rendryv upon successful arrangement of a reservation with the car  rental company. The voucher confirms completion of Rendryv’s arrangement services and enables the customer to proceed to enter into a car rental contract with the Rental company in accordance with the booking details selected by the Customer, such as  vehicle type and pick-up date.

  • Pickup: The date and time for collecting the car from the rental company, as specified by the user or beneficiary.
  • Drop-off: The date and time for returning the car to the rental company, as specified by the user or beneficiary.
  • Concierge Services: A personal assistant service that handles searching, booking, and managing the entire rental experience on behalf of the customer.

General Information

Rayat Al-Safar Company, the owner (Rendryv), provides car rental arrangement services , serving customers seeking mobility solutions for holidays and short trips. In addition to car rental arrangements, the company’s services may include customer support and advisory services to help select the most suitable rental car; guidance on simplified booking procedures, vehicle pickup and return; informational and guidance services related to destinations (such as entry requirements, recommendations for tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels, beaches, and maps); destination-related concierge services; booking cancellation support to enhance the customer experience; and other car rental–related and auxiliary services, collectively referred to as car rental arrangement Services.

In addition, the company provides technical software solutions to car rental companies (partners) to manage booking operations and daily supporting processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability of operations.

Important Disclaimer: Rendryv (Rayat Al-Safar Company) does not own a fleet of cars and does not provide rental services directly. Responsibility for vehicle availability, technical condition, and service performance rests solely with the car rental company “ providers or partners”. Rendryv does not guarantee vehicle availability at the time of pickup and is not liable for a Rental Company’s failure to provide a vehicle within legal limits.

Account Registration and Booking

Anyone may browse Rendryv or create an account. Registration and account creation do not obligate Rendryv to execute or ensure completion of any booking between the customer and  the car rental provider or partner. Rendryv’s obligation is limited to processing the reservation request and, upon confirmation from the rental company, issuing a booking confirmation voucher. A booking may be declined if the customer fails to meet legal requirements or the applicable terms and conditions of the car rental company provider  or  partner, without any liability on Rendryv.

 

The Booking Process

Booking through Rendryv is the arrangement of car rental services on behalf of the rental company or its partner and may lead to a car rental contract between the customer and the rental company. Such contract, if formed, is the sole responsibility of the customer and the rental company. Rendryv bears no liability for any disputes, performance issues, or failures arising from that contract or the rental transaction

Rendryv role  is limited to searching for availability, transmitting your reservation request, facilitating payment for our arrangement services if applicable, and upon confirmation from the rental company, providing you with a booking confirmation voucher.

 

 

To make a booking, the customer must select a car rental service within a specified category, determine the rental terms, and choose any available additional services (such as access instructions, an additional driver, comprehensive coverage, and others).

The booking does not guarantee a specific vehicle model or brand; it only guarantees the selected vehicle category, unless a specific model is expressly stated and guaranteed by the rental company. If the booked vehicle category is available at the time of pickup, it will be provided. Otherwise, a vehicle from the same category or a higher category may be provided, and if neither is available, a vehicle from a lower category may be provided and a partial refund may be issued as determined by the Rental Company."

The images of vehicles displayed on the website/application are for illustrative purposes only.  The actual vehicle provided at pickup may differ from the vehicle shown in the images.

The customer is responsible for carefully reviewing all information related to the selected rental details, as booking terms and policies may vary from one rental company to another. 

Information about what is included or not included in the rental price is shown during booking under sections such as “Price Includes,” “Price Excludes,” and “Optional Add-ons.” These may include items like child seats, GPS, bike racks, cross-border travel, drop-off at a different location, or pickup from a non-office location (collectively referred to as Add-ons).
Where available, add-ons can be requested during the booking process through the website/ app, or by contacting customer support for additional services.

When a booking is made, the platform checks the availability of the requested car rental services by confirming them with the participating car rental company. Booking confirmation may take up to 48 hours due to operational requirements. If the rental start date is 5 days or less from the booking date, the request will be handled on a priority basis where possible.

The booking becomes valid once Rendryv issues a booking confirmation voucher after receiving confirmation of availability from the relevant car rental company. The voucher will be sent to the 

The Booking Voucher contains the customer's details and summarizes the arranged rental services. It serves as evidence of Rendryv's completed arrangement services and as authorization for the customer to proceed to the rental counter. The voucher enables the customer to collect the vehicle and enter into a rental contract directly with the car rental company, subject to that company's terms, conditions, and verification requirements.  

Customers can view the status of their booking at any time by visiting the “MyBookings” section on the website/application.

 

 

Required Documents and Conditions

Required Documents and Conditions to Complete a Booking

If you are a citizen of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or a resident therein, you must be registered in the Absher system and provide the documents listed below in order to complete your booking on the Rendryv website/application within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If your booking is outside the borders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, some requirements and documents may not apply. Likewise, if you are not a citizen of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, some conditions required to complete the booking may not apply. Please review the terms and conditions below carefully.

Identity and Driving License

Upon vehicle pickup, the original copy of the identity document and driving license must be presented if you are a citizen or resident of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The national ID or residency permit must be valid for a period of no less than six months prior to its expiry date.

If you are a citizen of a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) country, you must present the GCC national ID in addition to the driving license. If you are a visitor, you must present your border number, in addition to a driving license issued by your country of residence or nationality, or an international driving license, in order to complete the process.

The name appearing on the driving license will be matched with the name of the person who made the booking. It is required that the submitted driving license be in the name of the main driver. Otherwise, the Rendryv website/application shall not be responsible and no compensation shall be due for any losses or claims if the booking is rejected due to a mismatch between the booking holder’s name and the person collecting the vehicle.

Credit Card

Some car rental companies may require a credit card at the time of vehicle pickup to hold a security deposit, the amount of which is determined based on the vehicle type and refunded upon return of the vehicle after verifying its condition and any additional mileage, in accordance with the rental company’s terms and conditions. The Rendryv website/application shall bear no responsibility in this regard.In such cases, you must provide a credit card that matches the details of the booking holder. The payment card used for the booking or the credit card used for the refundable security deposit must match the details of the customer renting through Rendryv.

 

Age and Driving License Requirements

The driver (and any additional driver) must meet the age and driving license requirements set by the rental provider at the time of vehicle pickup.

Generally, the minimum driver age ranges between 21 and 25 years, depending on the vehicle category and country. Additional fees may apply to drivers under the age of 25, and special conditions or fees may apply to drivers over the age of 65.

In accordance with car rental policies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the minimum driver age is typically 21 years; however, some companies may apply additional fees for drivers below this age. In such cases, you will be informed of any additional charges provided you enter the correct age during the booking process.

For certain international bookings, the required minimum age may be higher than the above-mentioned age (21 years), and the rental company may be unable to proceed with the booking or vehicle rental if the required age is not met. Age requirements may vary between car rental companies depending on the country and location in which they operate. Accordingly, it is the customer’s responsibility to verify the age requirements and booking terms of each rental company individually. The website/application shall not bear any liability or claims in this regard.

In line with global car rental policies, the driver must hold a valid driving license for at least one  year (or longer, depending on the provider’s requirements) and present it along with any other required identification documents at pickup.

If the age, license, or identification requirements are not met, the service provider (the rental company) reserves the right to refuse vehicle delivery or impose additional fees accordingly.

SIMAH Certificate

Saudi citizens and residents within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia may be required to provide a SIMAH credit report, and must not have any prior financial defaults. Car rental companies reserve the full right to cancel the booking if it is determined that the customer’s credit status does not permit car rental, or if previous defaults or excessive liabilities inconsistent with the customer’s income are identified.If the SIMAH certificate is not provided, the rental company has the full right not to proceed with the booking or vehicle rental, and full responsibility shall lie with the customer.If you are not a citizen or resident of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, such requirements (such as registration in Absher or providing a SIMAH credit report) do not apply to you.

 

Payments

During the booking process, the website/application may collect payments from the customer in accordance with the “Payments” section of these terms and conditions. Such payments may represent fees for car rental arrangement services provided by the company in its capacity as an intermediary or arranger.

Amounts collected by the company as an agent or payment facilitator on behalf of the relevant car rental company may be transferred to the company’s account, one of its affiliated companies, or the relevant car rental company, depending on the nature of the service and payment method.

The company’s role is limited to arranging car rental services and facilitating the booking and payment process only. The company is not a car rental service provider and bears no responsibility for the performance or non-performance of the rental contract, which is concluded directly between the customer and the car rental company.

Customer Support

The customer must contact Rendryv’s customer support team for any inquiries related to car rental arrangement services, including assistance with coordination, clarification of information, handling potential misunderstandings, or requesting modifications, including cases where any element of the car rental arrangement services may be subject to non-performance for reasons not attributable to the customer’s misuse or breach of these terms and conditions.

The role of the customer support team is limited to assistance with communication and coordination with the relevant car rental company and does not constitute a guarantee or assumption of responsibility for the car rental service itself. Customers are advised to read the terms and conditions in full before contacting the company.

Booking validity, Claims, and Cancellation

The Booking Agreement remains in effect until the end of the rental period stated in the voucher, during which the customer may benefit from Rendryv’s booking arrangement services. Any post-rental services are provided only where expressly stated in these Terms or the service details. claims or complaints relating to Rendryv’s role as an intermediary must be submitted within the time limits set out in the claims and complaints section. The booking agreement may be canceled only in accordance with these terms or as required by applicable law.

 

 

Prices and Payments

The website/application displays, before selecting the payment method and entering payment details, the total price of the car Rental arrangement Package Services. This price represents the full cost of all components of the car rental arrangement package services arranged by the Company, including the vehicle rental and any related services or add-ons. This price shall hereinafter be referred to as the car Rental arrangement Package Price.

Subject to availability, the user may add additional services to the car rental arrangement package prior to vehicle pickup, in exchange for additional fees which will be clearly disclosed to the user. Payments for the package price and add-ons may be made either to the Company (Rendryv) or directly to the car rental company at the time of vehicle pickup, depending on the nature of the add-on and the payment method selected by the customer.

Payments related to the car rental arrangement services may be processed by the Company or any of its affiliated companies for operational purposes or to comply with applicable regulatory requirements.

Add-ons purchased directly by the customer from the car rental company at the time of vehicle pickup—whether or not such add-ons are displayed on the website/application are not included. In such cases, the customer enters into a separate and direct agreement with the car rental company, independent of the booking agreement concluded through the Rendryv website/application.

The price of the car rental arrangement services is calculated based on the confirmed pickup and return dates and times at the time of booking. Any change to these dates or times may result in a price adjustment in accordance with these terms and conditions. The company shall not be responsible for any price changes resulting from add-ons accepted at vehicle pickup. If the customer extends the rental period after it has commenced, the car rental company shall be entitled to charge extension fees in accordance with its prevailing local rates at that time.

The Company shall not be responsible for any additional fees imposed by the car rental company as a result of the customer’s violation of vehicle usage rules or rental terms adopted by the car rental company.

Payment Types

Depending on the selected service, one of the following payment types may be available for booking:

Partial Prepayment

The company or its affiliated companies collect a portion of the car rental arrangement package price at the time of booking. The customer shall pay the remaining amount, along with any selected add-ons, directly to the car rental company at the time of vehicle pickup.

Full Prepayment

The company or its affiliated companies collect the full car rental arrangement package price at the time of booking. Payment for selected add-ons shall be made either to the Company or directly to the car rental company at vehicle pickup, as applicable.

Pay at Pickup

No amount is collected at the time of booking. The customer shall pay the full car rental arrangement package price, along with any selected add-ons, directly to the car rental company at the time of vehicle pickup.

The payment methods accepted by car rental companies may vary and may include credit cards, debit cards, or cash. Some car rental companies may acceptccredit cards only. The customer bears sole responsibility for verifying the accepted payment methods stated in the rental terms of the selected car rental company.

Payment methods accepted on the website/application typically include credit cards, debit cards, and available digital payment methods. Payment methods may vary depending on the customer’s location or country of residence, and a pre-authorization may be required at the time of booking.

For ease of use, the website/application may use terms such as “Pay Now” and “Pay at Pickup.” “Pay Now” refers to amounts collected at the time of booking, while “Pay at Pickup” refers to amounts payable directly to the car rental company upon vehicle pickup.

The Company does not collect or hold payment for add-ons selected at pickup; such payments are collected directly by the car rental company.

Deposit and Currency

The car rental company may require a security deposit to be held or charged at pickup using the main driver’s credit card or any other payment method accepted by the car rental company, to cover potential costs such as insurance excess, traffic violations, toll fees, fuel charges, or other expenses. If no such costs arise, the deposit is typically released within a period not exceeding several weeks from the end of the rental period.

 

 

If a single customer rents more than one vehicle under multiple bookings with different main drivers, each main driver must provide a separate credit card for the security deposit.

The security deposit is not subject to the booking agreement concluded with the Rendryv application and is not collected by Rendryv.

Prices are determined in the local currency of the vehicle pickup location. Indicative prices may be displayed in other currencies for display purposes only and are calculated based on prevailing exchange rates.

Payments on the website/appllication may be made in selected major currencies, subject to availability.

Any amounts paid directly to the car rental company must be settled in the local currency of the pickup location. If the customer’s card currency differs from the local currency, the payment service provider will perform the currency conversion at its applicable exchange rate, and conversion fees may apply. Rendryv shall not be responsible for price differences resulting from exchange rates, conversion fees, or the customer’s acceptance of a vehicle category upgrade.

The car rental company may require a pre-authorization on the customer’s credit card for the relevant amounts before allowing vehicle pickup.

 

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

1. Paid Bookings

if the customer has paid for the booking, the customer may cancel the booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time and receive a full refund of the amount paid, less any non-refundable fees expressly stated at the time of booking.

If cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time and before pick-up, the booking may still be canceled; however, a cancellation penalty equal to 30% of the booking amount shall apply, and the remaining balance, if any, will be refunded.

No-Show

If the customer fails to pick up the vehicle at the scheduled pick-up time and location without prior cancellation, the booking will be treated as a no-show.

In the event of a no-show, 100% of the booking amount paid shall be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

Pay later bookings

For bookings made under a pay later option, the customer may cancel the booking at any time prior to the scheduled pick-up time without penalty.

If the customer fails to pick up the vehicle under a pay later booking without cancellation, the booking may be recorded as a no-show, and Rendryv reserves the right to restrict or suspend the customer’s access to future pay later bookings.

4. General Provisions

 All cancellations must be made through Rendryv’s platform prior to the scheduled pick-up time.

Rendryv acts solely as a booking arrangement platform and does not guarantee vehicle availability or delivery. Any rental contract, if formed, is solely between the customer and the rental company.

Rendryv shall not be liable for any losses arising from cancellation, no-show, or refusal of vehicle delivery by the rental company in accordance with its terms and policies.

Claims and Complaints

Any claim or complaint by the Customer must be submitted within thirty (30) days from the date of vehicle drop-off. Claims submitted after this period shall not be processed. Claims may be submitted through the claim  section of the website/applicaiton. 

Where a claim or complaint relates to matters falling within the responsibility of the rental company, the customer shall submit the complaint directly to the Rental company and notify the company accordingly. Upon receipt, the company shall inform the customer of the applicable complaint-handling process.

The company shall review the claim and issue a response within twenty-eight (28) calendar days from the date on which all relevant information and supporting documentation required to assess the claim have been received.

If the customer fails to respond to any communication from the company within  (21) calendar days, the claim shall be deemed closed without further action, resolution, or compensation.

If the customer becomes aware of any unauthorized use of personal data or payment information in connection with a booking, the customer shall promptly notify the company’s customer support team to allow investigation and appropriate action.
